About Me

Hi,

I'm Scott Lee and welcome to my site.

I started on my personal self-help journey way back in the early 2000s. Since then, I’ve been studying self-help, brain waves and mind power techniques to find a way to better improve the quality of my life in a practical & easy-to-use manner.

Over the years, I’ve tried out many self-help techniques and products, with varying degrees of success, spending thousands of dollars on personal development courses, learning from various teachers, motivational speakers and spiritual gurus as well as buying the more promising self-help products.

I’m not interested in techniques which over-promise but fail to deliver (Con-job!).

At the same time, self-help techniques which require you to meditate for 3 hours twice a day, or go to India or Tibet to spend 10 years learning from a spiritual guru also don’t appeal to me (Not practical!).

My focus is to look for those self-help techniques and products that I can actually use and apply in my day-to-day life.




Looking back, the story of how I started is quite funny and almost seems like divine intervention. What started out as a seemingly random decision to attend a free 2-hour self-help seminar turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life.

You see, back then, I was a brash, impulsive, hot-tempered, angry young guy working at a dead-end job. I was paid peanuts and rented a tiny room in public housing. Not surprisingly, I really wasn’t a very happy person.

Since then, I’ve come a long way.

Today, I’m a Director in a global investment company in Asia, working on strategy planning and mergers & acquisitions. I live in a nice fully-paid up condominium on the 30th floor.

Quite obviously, life for me has certainly changed a lot.

But it didn’t happen overnight and it certainly wasn’t a smooth journey. There were times when I hit rock bottom and was really quite depressed, working in a series of really unpleasant jobs in succession.

I’d be wondering what was wrong with me, and why none of these self-help techniques seem to work. I must have made every mistake there is to make.

And if you make enough mistakes, eventually you learn what works and what doesn’t.




So you see, I’m just a normal guy who’s studied self-help and mind power techniques for about 10 years, experienced a lot through trial and error, and applied only those things which actually work in my daily life.

And if you study something for about 10 years, chances are that you’ll definitely know a lot more than the average guy (To put it in perspective, you can get a karate black belt in 2-3 years, or a college degree in about 3-4 years).

Even today, I’m still learning about new self-help techniques and methods.

As a result, my life has changed incredibly over the years. Now that I’ve achieved so many of my earlier goals, I’m in a better position to build bigger and grander dreams.

And I know that it’s just a matter of time before I get there... :)




Nowadays, when I have the time, I share my experiences as a motivational speaker and life coach. I still take clients and speaking engagements, but on a selective basis. Coaching sessions are conducted via teleconference and are 60mins each, payable in advance. Contact me for appointments and fees if there's any interest.

I also write a fortnightly Happy, Healthy, Wealthy newsletter where I talk about my experiences and the self-help techniques that actually work.

At the end of the day, it’s all about the results that you get. As you become aware of why things sometimes don’t happen the way you want, you’re in a better position to adjust your course and start aiming for what you do want.
