How the Silva Mind-Control Course Changed A Hard-Ass Cynic...

You know, for most of my life, I was a cynical, sarcastic, smart-ass thinking that everyone was trying to taking advantage of me. Calculative, materialistic and pessimistic, it was a wonder that I was able to get where I was in life. The more things didn’t go my way, the more negative I became. It wasn’t long before I had gotten into a self-destructive cycle.

I have to admit I didn’t win any popularity contests. I’m not making this up or anything. I really wasn’t the most pleasant person to be around. Looking back, I have to say that I’m not proud of that part of my life.

Then one day, I saw this ad in the papers, "Come attend this free 2-hour seminar and learn how to improve your health, happiness and increase your wealth!"

Life begets life. Energy begets energy. It is by spending oneself that one becomes rich.

At first, I thought, "Yeah, right. What a load of crock! It’s gotta be another scam to con me of my hard-earned money."

But then, I figured, "Hey, it’s free & if I can learn how to make some cash, why not?"

So, with that in mind, I went for the free seminar session (which turned out to be an introductory pitch for the Silva Mind Control course).

Now, this is where it gets interesting.

Being the cynical & sarcastic guy I was then, I was behaving like a smart-ass and, basically, making life difficult for the presenters. Quite obviously, they certainly didn’t like me a lot.

Now, towards the end of the seminar, there was a lucky draw with the winner getting discounts to attend the Silva Mind Control course.

When the results were out, no-one could believe it.

Of all people, I had actually won the draw (Yup! Me, the smart-ass...).

You could literally see the presenters' mouths drop to the floor! They actually checked and double-checked the results, but nope, I actually won the draw (Actually, I couldn’t believe it myself.).

It was nothing short of a miracle (Call it divine intervention or whatever you will, but somehow, I think it was just meant to be. Looking back, I really needed to go for the Silva Mind Control course…)

Needless to say, I attended the Silva Mind Control course. And that, my friend, was the beginning of the rest of my life...

What the Silva Mind Control Course Taught Me

I’ll admit it.

The only reason why I even considered attending the self-help course was because I wanted to learn how to make more money, quickly and easily.

Instead, what I learnt from that weekend changed my entire perspective on life.

At first, the Silva Mind Control course started out a bit slow as they went through some basic theories and explanations. I learnt about how the mind works, how my reality was a direct result of my thoughts and mind power, and the crucial role my brain waves have in creating my reality.

Whilst it was all interesting stuff, frankly, I was getting a little bored. Knowing something intellectually, and understanding and appreciating it from the heart, are two different things altogether. At that point in time, I only understood it intellectually.

Then, came the turning point (for me, at least), when the Silva Mind Control course really took off!

After all that theory (actually, it was only about half a morning), the Silva Mind Control course started teaching how to slow down your brain wave patterns to Alpha brainwave. They called it going to "Alpha" or "Level".

For the first time, I experienced a deep inner silence & peace, deeper than I had ever experienced before.

Now, I was in a packed seminar room, sitting on one of those uncomfortable seminar chairs, and yet, it was as if I was in a totally different world.

As the course went on, there were more and more practice sessions of going into Alpha, as we explored and learnt how to use the power of the mind to help us achieve our goals.

Incidentally, Jose Silva continued to research and develop the Silva Mind Control method, and recently, came up with the latest development in the science of Mind Control. It's called the Silva Ultramind system. His daughter, Laura Silva, further developed this into the Silva Life System. So don't get confused if you come across these terms. It's just the latest evolution in the Silva Mind methods.

What the Silva Mind Control course Meant to Me

Now, I don’t know if what I’ve just said makes any sense to you. Sitting here, reading about my experiences may not seem like much.

Maybe you've heard the same thing somewhere before but thought it was all a bunch of hogwash or a marketing pitch.

I know I did.

It was only after attending the Silva Mind Control course that I really appreciated what was being said and the message within. For the first time, I saw things in a new light, and experienced a totally new world.

Now, I'm not saying that the Silva Mind Control course is the only self help course in the world that works. However, it was what I needed at that point in life.

Externally, nothing had changed. I still face challenges in life. However, what changed was my response and how I viewed these challenges. It was a total paradigm shift and change of perspective. It literally opened up an entirely new world and a side of me I never knew existed.

At the end of the day, I went looking for riches and material possessions. Instead, I learnt that true riches are found within and that I already had all I ever really ever wanted in life.

And that, my friend, is worth more than all the riches in the world...
