You might have noticed that I’ve recommended Mike Brescia’s Think Right Now! self improvement programs in some of my articles. If you’re wondering what’s it all about and if it’s any good, don’t worry, ‘cos by the end of this article, you’re going to find out why Think Right Now! is the #1 most visited personal development product site in the world (as ranked by Alexa). You’ll also learn why I still use the Think Right Now! audios & software on a daily basis, and think this personal development product is one of the most effective "natural" subliminal message and affirmation programs around. So, without any further delay, let’s find out... What are Think Right Now! Self-Help Programs? The Think Right Now! audio programs are self-improvement products which use verbal affirmations to help people overcome with the issues and challenges that they face in life. In other words, the Think Right Now! programs are audio recordings of verbal affirmations. That’s all. And I know what you’re thinking. "Huh? That’s all?" , you’re saying, "Then, what’s the big deal?" Before you start thinking that I’m off my rocker, let me explain:
But first, let me explain what mental patterns are, and why it can be quite difficult to break a habit or change your current attitudes and behavior. Why it’s so Difficult to Diet, Quit Smoking or Break a Habit...Can you think of a time when you tried to go on a new diet plan or quit smoking? You start off all motivated and enthusiastic, determined to lose those extra pounds. The first day goes all fine. Your determination and will-power is strong and you think, "Piece of cake! I’ll complete the diet this time and lose 5 pounds!".
Day 3 - When the waiter at your favorite restaurant offers you a FREE helping of ice-cream dessert with extra toppings of chocolate fudge, you find it really hard to say no to that extra helping of chocolate fudge ice-cream dessert. It’s almost as if you can hear that delicious, creamy, ice-cream dessert that’s dripping with sinful chocolate fudge calling out to you, "Eat me! Eat me! I’m really, really delicious!". By the end of the first week, well, you probably know how the story ends, assuming you make it that far... Sound familiar? The reason why it’s so difficult to change your habits and attitudes, even though you want to and know it’s not good for you, is that you’ve got negative mental patterns embedded in your mind.
Affirmations – What’s so Great about Them?In a nutshell, the thinking behind using affirmations is that repeating positive statements to yourself would gradually result in positive changes in your character and behavior. It’s sounds really simple but it’s actually a very powerful concept. You see, when you verbally or mentally repeat something to yourself, regardless of whether it’s positive or negative, a thought image or pattern is created in your mind. Do this on a regular basis, and these mental patterns are reinforced and eventually become part of your thinking and psyche. And that’s what leads to positive character and attitude change (assuming you’re repeating positive affirmations to yourself). It’s all based on the principle that you (or your mind) create your reality. Your current situation and environment is a result of what your mind thinks about, either consciously or subconsciously. So, as you’ve probably guessed by now, affirmations are actually all about using your mind-power and the power of the mind to manifest your dreams and achieve your goals. In fact, affirmations actually play a significant part in many of the self-help techniques and programs around. Subliminal messages, hypnosis, the Silva Mind method, creative visualization, etc., all make use of affirmations in one way or another. The difference between all these techniques is the delivery method used, or in other words, how these various techniques deliver the affirmations to your mind. I’ll talk a lot more about affirmations in another article. However, for the moment, I’m sure that you can quite obviously see how affirmations can help you in your self-improvement and personal growth. Why Some Self-Help Techniques Don't Show Lasting Change
Now, think of the backpack as your mind. The rocks represent your negative mental patterns whilst the apples are the positive mental patterns that you wish to adopt. That’s the reason why it’s sometimes so hard to break a bad habit or make any lasting change in your attitude or character. I really like that little tale. It’s a simple little story but clearly shows in a very elegant way why personal growth and self-improvement can sometimes be so difficult.
And no matter how many self-improvement products they buy or motivational seminars they go to, it’s not going to be of much use. That’s because until they let go of all the negative mental patterns in their minds, it’s going to be difficult to see any real change or improvement. For lasting personal growth and change, you need to release all the old negative patterns in your mind. And only after that, will you be able to adopt new positive mental patterns and attitudes and progress in your self-development. It’s the same thing as emptying your backpack full of rocks before putting any new apples in it. Think about it. What’s So Special about Think Right Now!
